Saxon’s oil production is from working interests in seven wells located in the Last Chance and Catwalk fields and two wells in the Ambrose field in the Williston Basin of North Dakota. Current production comes from the Madison Limestone at Last Chance and Catwalk while the Duperow produces at Ambrose field. The fields are considered fully developed in the existing reservoirs. However, the deeper Bakken Shale has been completed in horizontal oil wells approximately two miles north of Saxon's leasehold at Last Chance field and four miles south of Ambrose field acreage. Bakken and Sanish Three Forks drilling activity is anticipated on Saxon interest leasehold.
