DALLAS - Saxon Oil Company Ltd. ("Saxon (TSX VENTURE: SXN) (FRANKFURT: OVG) (BERLIN: OVG) announces ongoing activity in Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. In Kansas, Saxon has purchased a 50 % working interest in 1,440 acres of producing leaseholds located in Ellsworth County, Kansas in the Green Garden (Lansing) oil field and the Rathbun (Wabaunsee) gas field. The acreage has eight oil wells and six gas wells plus a gas compression station and interconnection into an interstate gas pipeline. An enhanced waterflood is planned for the deeper (3,000 ft) oil wells and significant workover and drilling activity is anticipated for the multiple shallow (2,000 ft) gas horizons. Saxon and its partner closed on the acquisition on September 30, 2008. Mid Kansas Gas Gathering (MKGG), a joint venture between Central Kansas Gas Gathering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saxon Oil Company, and American Energies, will acquire the compression station and gas interconnection and plans to construct additional gas gathering systems and facilities in the area.

DALLAS - Saxon Oil Company Ltd. ("Saxon") (PINK SHEETS: SXNOF) (TSX VENTURE: SXN) (FRANKFURT: OVG) (BERLIN: OVG) is moving ahead with several noteworthy projects in the first half of 2008 that should continue to lead to improving cash flows, improved financial performance and increased shareholder value. Saxon remains active in its drilling and completion program throughout the first quarter of 2008. The company’s midstream gathering gas system in central Kansas, held in Saxon’s wholly owned subsidiary, Central Kansas Gas Gathering (CKGG), should begin service in the 2nd quarter of 2008. In Italy, AleAnna Resources LLC, of which Saxon holds a 20% membership interest, is progressing on the process to obtain government approval for a 3d seismic survey scheduled for fall 2008.

DALLAS, TEXAS – Saxon Oil Company Ltd. (TSX.V: SXN) is actively engaged in several oil and natural gas projects and prospects. Most notable is the Hudson Hills prospect in Central Texas. In early October Saxon completed its first well in the prospect. The well is averaging 30 bbls of oil per day during its first few weeks of production. In addition, Saxon, which holds a 75% working interest in the prospect, has drilled two wells adjacent to the first well that should be on production shortly. Saxon has leased approximately 2,000 acres in this area and will continue development of this prospect.
